Purpose of the post:
To provide cover in the classroom providing a high level of classroom learning support and classroom management. Supporting learning and classroom staff.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and skilled HLTA to join an existing strong team and help us provide the best education and experience possible for our fantastic pupils.
The successful candidate will provide cover in classrooms across the school, to cover when staff need to attend CPD, meetings and other school based activities, as well as covering for short term absence. You will work across all four year groups in the school (Y3-Y6) alongside the year group teams. When not providing cover, you will work within classes, providing support to pupils as required.
Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to have the HLTA or Cover Supervisor qualification, but experience of covering whole classes is essential.
The role is for 6 hours per day, 3 days a week, but it is likely that there will be regular opportunities for additional ad hoc hours.
