The Role

 

The role of office administrator is vital to the smooth running of our academy. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of office life during the hours you work.

The role involves managing phone and email communication, uploading requisitions to order resources for school, greeting visitors and parents, supporting all staff in their role e.g. contacting parents etc. and much more. No day is the same and the role is varied and interesting.

 We would love to hear from you if

 You have experience of working in a school office or similar busy office environment

  • You are confident working with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
  • You have GCSE Maths and English at grades A – C
  • You are able to work independently under your own initiative and enjoy a challenge!
  • You are a people person, able to quickly build relationships with staff, children, parents and other members of our community

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. If you have information to declare it may be protected under the Exceptions Orders and you may not be required to declare it. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post.
