Hallie's Amazing Fundraising at Dickleburgh Primary Academy

March 7, 2025

This is Hallie, a Year 2 pupil at Dickleburgh Primary Academy.

When Hallie heard that her Mum’s friend—who is an ex-Dickleburgh pupil herself—was running the London Marathon to support Children With Cancer UK, Hallie wanted to do something to help, especially when she heard about other children losing their hair because of cancer treatment.

So last week Hallie was sponsored to have 11 inches of her beautiful hair cut off.  She donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust and donated her sponsor money to her aunt’s cause to raise money for children with cancer.

So far, Hallie has raised £550 herself and, when combined with her aunt’s fundraising, they have raised £1,900.

We are so proud of Hallie’s generous donation, which will make a real difference to children undergoing cancer treatment.
