Working for a St Benet’s Academy
There are a wide range of careers on offer with St Benet's, with training and development opportunities every step of the way.
About Us
St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust was created in 2018 by the Diocese of Norwich. Since opening, we have grown from an initial 5 schools to our current 18 schools (Feb 2025) with a pipeline of schools wanting to join us. Our members are mainly Primary schools with one All Through School serving students up to the age of 16.
Our academies are open to all and accepting of all, regardless of faith. Our passion and ambition are to see children and young people in all our academies achieve excellent educational outcomes alongside developing and growing into their potential as individuals made in the image of God.
Our culture is one of high aspiration for all. This is rooted in our Christian values as demonstrated in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. We have a desire to see our academies acknowledged as places of aspiration, high quality learning, achievement and hope making a significant contribution to the communities they serve.
Culture and Values
All our schools have children at the heart of what they do; some of our academies are very small and rural, others are much larger and in market towns. All operate within the Christian ethos and values of the Diocese of Norwich and St Benet’s MAT and benefit from the support and development opportunities that the Trust provides.
Our Values of Honesty | Courage | Compassion | Hope underpin all our interactions with pupils, staff, parents and the wider school community. Our collaborative, peer-to-peer approach to support brings many benefits to our schools and our staff. We recognise best practice, celebrate successes, and harness and share expertise within our community. This may include the opportunity of secondments and short-term placements within St Benet’s academies to gain wider experience and support other schools.
Our CPD Networks bring together subject leaders and teachers from every school in creative and collaborative training sessions that shape curriculum development and provide reassurance and support.
